Xpanding LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website xpand.ing and publishes iOS apps including Walkup Music DJ. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Our approach

We build practical software without bloat or invasive tracking. That extends to this website. We do not run advertising networks, sell data, or share information with third parties for commercial purposes.

Website analytics — Google Analytics 4

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use xpand.ing. This is optional — you can reject it via the cookie banner without any impact on your experience.

When you accept analytics, here is exactly what is collected:

• Pages visited, time on page, and general navigation flow
• Approximate geographic region (country / city level only)
• Device type and browser
• Referring source (e.g. a search engine or direct link)

What we do not do:

• We do not enable Google Signals or advertising features
• We do not use remarketing or ad targeting of any kind
• IP addresses are anonymized before storage — we never see your full IP
• We do not share analytics data with third parties for commercial purposes

Data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy. Analytics data is retained for 14 months (the minimum available in GA4).

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Consent cookie

We store one item in your browser’s localStorage — the key xpanding_cookie_consent_v1 — to remember your cookie preference. This is strictly necessary for the banner to work correctly, contains no personal information, and is never transmitted to our servers.

iOS apps

Walkup Music DJ and any future Xpanding LLC apps do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. Specifically:

• No account registration or login is required
• No analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or ad networks are embedded
• All data you enter — rosters, player names, song preferences — stays entirely on your device
• Apple Music access, if granted, is used only to search and play music within the app; we do not store or transmit your Apple Music data

Apple may collect diagnostic and App Store data under their own privacy policy, which is separate from ours.
